Details

In this project, we started with an initial capital of R100,000 and made strategic investments in various stocks listed on the JSE. Our trades were guided by a thorough analysis of market conditions, sectoral prospects, and the financial health of the selected companies. We diversified our investments across multiple sectors and made decisions based on financial ratios and market performance. The project includes a detailed examination of each trade, the rationale behind our investment choices, and the outcomes of these trades.

Challenges

We faced several challenges, including market volatility, which required us to make timely and strategic decisions. Additionally, understanding and applying financial ratios effectively were crucial for evaluating our investments. To overcome these challenges, we continuously monitored the market, adjusted our strategy as needed, and relied on comprehensive financial analysis.

Results

Our investment project concluded with a total profit of R1,037.24, excluding the uninvested reserve. This result reflects our successful application of financial analysis and strategic decision-making. Detailed financial ratios and metrics for our best investments, British American Tobacco and Shoprite Holdings Ltd., indicate a positive financial outlook and effective asset utilization.
